I've not had that particular dream (though I probably will tonight and it will be all your fault). My recurring dreams tend to be more along the lines of needing to get to an immportant appointment and not being able to find my way.
I think what we dream is an indicator of our personality traits. I am obviously obsessed with puctuality (true), while you, CI are just a big kid at heart.
The hazy vista picture hypnotised me. I was recanting Bey, onsume, buy, Bey, onsume, buy until my wife broke me from the trance. I told her it was dangerous to do that and she said "I know that but the rubbish needs taken out." Nuff said.
I am one of those people that instantly forget their dreams when they wake up, Expat. The only one I can recollect is a vivid one a few months ago when I dreamed there was an intruder in the house. I seem to be braver in dreams than real life as I confronted the outsider, during the scuffle I woke up and, as you can imagine, took a bit of time to get back to sleep.
Dreaming my dream? Being hypnotised by the hazy vista? Dreaming in French? Arrrgh! What have I done? What have I done? Alas, what have I done ... ... ?
It's now nearly 4.30 am and I'm having a sleepless night, dreaming a hypnotic Froggie dream.
So I think the spell is working on me too. But don't worry. Tomorrow we will all feel much better. :-)
Oh dear, CI... Well I hope you did manage a few moments Untroubled sleep.
The night before our wedding I could not sleep At All and finally got up looking like a King Edward tatie.
(No change there then).
A hypnotic daze came in for me too - I sailed merrily through the day and it was only when we got to our honeymoon hotel that I fell into an instant coma. Fond memory
Ah Dolores - I'm looking forward to my son's wedding next summer. He's getting married to a delightful lass from Northern Ireland and we'll be travelling over there for the celebrations. Thank goodness there is no such thing as a "Father of the Groom" wedding speech!
I'm still exhausted after prior "Father of the Bride" effort! :-)

What can this mean?
Have you had this dream?
Should we be worried?
Or glad?
Euphoric, even?
Please tell.
:-)

What does Dolores dream about, I wonder? And JW?

Thought-provoking, hilarious, a bit worrying - splendid post, CI! (I'm sure I once rented a hovel in Step 2).
In France they used to ask us if we dreamed in French or English - words?! All I can ever dredge back up is a babble of moans & twitches

Excellent news about the upcoming wedding, CI. Hope you have a great day. And just go fir it- speech, speech, speech.
Delightful honeymoon story, Dolores. You are a star.
Yes CI - surely you would not deny them the magnificence of your groom-fatherly Speech?
(possibly best not to do
the-answer-is-always... thing)
